RusLit is a library of Russian literature for readers around the world. If you are an author or a rights holder and would like your work to be read here, tell us about it.
What publishing gives you
- Readers from different countries: the interface is available in five languages, while the text stays in the original Russian.
- Tools for reading in the original: a personal vocabulary, chapter notes and reader settings.
- Reading clubs: members read a work together and discuss its chapters.
Terms
- We publish literary works in Russian: prose, poetry and drama.
- Publishing is free, and readers read works for free with no ads.
- The rights to the work stay with the rights holder: you only allow us to show the text on the platform.
- You can withdraw the work from publication at any time - just write to us.
- An application can be submitted by the author or by whoever manages the rights: an heir, a publisher or a literary agent.
- The RusLit team decides on publication; we may decline if a work is not a good fit for the platform.
How it works
- You fill in the application: your contact details and a few words about the work and the rights to it.
- We review the application and reply to the email you provided - if needed, we will ask for the text and documents on the rights.
- Once everything is agreed, the work appears in the catalog.
